1. Compare one of the Italian new airports you discussed in activity 2 p.55 with Knock Airport in Western Ireland, which opened in 1986 and has experienced a dramatical increase in the number of passengers since that date (from 50,000 to 500,000) thanks to lowcost airlines, in particular Ryanair. 2. Compare the Mediterranean destinations you analysed in activity 1 p. 63 to the Caribbean countries that are included in most cruises leaving from Florida, USA. What do they have in common? What are the main differences? Include details about the local culture, natural landscapes, possible excursions. You can use the Wikipedia page and the websites www.caribbean-guide.info and www.doitcaribbean.com (“Things to do” section).
3. Translate the itinerary you described in activity 4 p. 71 addressing it to English speaking tourists.

Work in pairs. One of you will analyse modern cruise ships and the other will focus on the Titanic. When you have gathered enough information on the facilities on board, discuss the differences and choose which kind of ship you like best.
