WRITING

1. Refer to activiy n.4 p.215: if the TV series is set in an English speaking country, find out more about its setting by browsing local tourism board websites. If your favourite TV series is not set in an English speaking country, choose another one which is and in both cases write a presentation in English about the main features of the setting as a tourism destination.
2. Refer to activity n. 2 p. 221: translate your tour in English to prepare a bi-lingual brochure advertising it.
3. Refer to activity n.4 p.227: choose 3 of these sites, possibly from English speaking countries, and look for information about them using English written wepages. Then write a short description of each.
4. Refer to activity n.4 p.233: look for further details about this event using English written websites and write an English summary of all the information you found.

CONVERSATION

Refer to the box on p.225. Work in pairs. Read carefully the list of requirements, then compare your opinions discussing each of them: do you agree or disagree on the importance of these points? Can you think of any destination near your city/town which fulfills all the requirements, although it’s not particularly popular?
